Nasdaq-listed vape company iSpire Technology has announced a leadership restructuring, with Tuanfang Liu becoming the company’s sole chief executive officer (CEO) and Michael Wang appointed CEO of Aspire North America to lead regional operations.

According to the company’s Form 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as well as reports from Reuters, TradingView and Investing.com, the move ends iSpire’s previous co-CEO structure and creates a clearer separation between corporate strategy and regional execution.

At the same time, financial firm BTIG initiated coverage on iSpire Technology with a Buy rating, highlighting investor interest in the company’s leadership changes and future growth strategy.

iSpire Technology Restructures CEO Leadership

Under the new structure, Tuanfang Liu, who previously served as co-CEO of iSpire Technology, becomes the company’s sole CEO, overseeing group strategy, business development and operations.

Michael Wang has been appointed CEO of Aspire North America, where he will focus on regional market development.

The company said the leadership restructuring is designed to improve organizational efficiency and strengthen coordination between corporate strategy and regional execution.

For global vape companies, clearer management responsibilities can help improve responses to different regulatory environments, consumer preferences and market conditions.

Tuanfang Liu Leads Group Strategy, Michael Wang Oversees North America

The key change is a clearer separation between group-level strategy and regional business execution.

Liu will focus on iSpire Technology’s broader direction, including long-term planning, business development and corporate operations.

Wang will lead Aspire North America’s commercial activities and market expansion.

North America remains one of the most important markets for global vape companies, while also presenting complex regulatory and competitive challenges. A dedicated regional leadership structure could help iSpire respond more effectively to local market conditions.

Leadership Restructuring Supports Global Business Strategy

iSpire Technology is a Nasdaq-listed vape and smart hardware company with business activities linked to the Aspire brand.

The vape sector has faced regulatory changes, increasing competition and evolving consumer preferences, requiring companies to improve organizational flexibility.

The CEO restructuring reflects iSpire’s efforts to strengthen corporate governance and improve coordination between global strategy and regional operations.

BTIG Initiates Coverage, Highlights ODM Growth Opportunity

Beyond the leadership transition, investors have also focused on iSpire Technology’s future growth strategy.

BTIG Research initiated coverage of iSpire Technology with a Buy rating and assigned a $3.50 price target.

BTIG identified ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) growth as a key opportunity for the company. Compared with relying solely on branded product sales, an ODM model can allow companies to serve more global brand customers while leveraging research, manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities.

BTIG’s assessment represents an analyst view of the company’s prospects and does not guarantee future performance. iSpire’s results will depend on market demand, regulatory conditions, customer expansion and execution.

Listed Vape Companies Focus on Governance and Growth Models

As the vape industry matures, listed companies face not only product competition but also increasing market attention on corporate governance, operational efficiency and sustainable growth models.

For iSpire Technology, the leadership restructuring and BTIG coverage have placed both corporate governance and future growth strategy under investor focus.

The company’s ability to use its new management structure to expand ODM opportunities and strengthen its North American presence will remain an important area for market observation.

The estimated costs are mainly linked to inventory adjustments, retail storage changes and the resources required for businesses to understand and implement the new requirements. The measures form part of the UK’s broader efforts to tighten vape regulation, particularly around product displays, packaging and sales practices.

Gross profit and adjusted profit lagged revenue growth, while second-quarter revenue growth slowed to about 1.9%, putting greater focus on the quality, concentration and sustainability of Smoore’s expansion.
