RELX Technology Ranked First in Global E-cigarette Companies
RELX Technology ranked first in global e-cigarette companies for second consecutive year in S&P Global's sustainability assessment.

According to Pageone, S&P Global recently released the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) results of RELX Technology.

 

RELX's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices have been ranked number one for the second consecutive year among all e-cigarette companies worldwide. Despite increasingly stringent rating criteria and higher requirements for information disclosure, its ESG score has still improved by 13% compared to last year.

 

The Standard & Poor's Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) is one of the most extensive annual assessments of corporate sustainable practices worldwide.

The Canada Border Services Agency said border officers at the Point Edward port of entry in Sarnia, Ontario, seized more than CAD 4.5 million worth of illegal tobacco and nicotine vapes over a seven-day period. The agency said the contraband was entering Canada from the United States and described the seizure as part of ongoing efforts to prevent illegal products from entering the country and disrupt organized crime.

Spain’s Nicotine Pouch Sales Reached 5 Million Cans in 2025, Industry Says 2026 Could Hit 8 Million
Spain’s Nicotine Pouch Association said nicotine pouch sales in Spain reached 5 million cans of 20 units in 2025 and are expected to rise 60% to 8 million in 2026. The group said there are currently 20 to 30 brands on the Spanish market and called for regulation proportionate to product risk. It also opposed a proposal to reduce nicotine content to 0.99 mg per pouch, saying it would amount to a de facto ban on the category.

The European Anti-Fraud Office said on April 17 that its “JCO VAPE” operation, carried out together with customs authorities from 30 countries, successfully targeted the illicit trade in e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products. The operation, conducted from November 14 to December 15, 2025, resulted in seizures of more than 94 million items and more than 2,500 kg/l of tobacco products, e-cigarettes, devices, and related goods.
