Brazilian Federal Police Seize 1500 Smuggled E-cigarettes in Victoria City
Federal police in Brazil seized nearly 1500 smuggled e-cigarettes in a large-scale operation in Victoria City on Wednesday.

According to a report by Folhavitoria on July 3, the Brazilian Federal Police conducted a large-scale search operation on Wednesday morning in the city of Vitória, where they seized nearly 1500 smuggled e-cigarettes.


According to the agency, the arrest was made during an operation called "Operação Vapor Barato," which carried out search and seizure orders after investigating the smuggling of e-cigarettes. The goods were found inside a car display cabinet. These e-cigarettes are valued at a total of 30,000 reais ($53,985 USD) and have now been sent to the federal police headquarters in São Torquato, located in Vila Velha.


The punishment for smuggling crimes in Brazil is a prison sentence of 2 to 5 years and a fine.
