In June 2025, the PIXL staff introduced 2Firsts at the 2025 Dubai e-cigarette exhibition, stating that the PIXL 6000 is the first product of the PIXL brand.
Currently, the PIXL Duo 12 Prefilled Pod Kit and Pixl 8000 Kit are both being sold in the UK market, while the Pixl 6000 is labeled as "Not available in the UK" on the official website. According to information from distributor websites, the reason for the Pixl 6000 not being available in the UK is due to the official implementation of a disposable e-cigarette ban in the country.
Born for the new regulations
According to a report by the industry media SLR in the UK, PIXL has been rated as one of the strongest growing brands in Scotland, with a market share of 13.5%, ranking third, and described as achieving "remarkable growth".
The PIXL team attributed its rapid rise to its parent company Ideotech, a British company. PIXL made its debut at the e-cigarette exhibition in Birmingham in May 2024 and officially launched its first product in June of the same year. The brand was designed in response to the upcoming disposable e-cigarette ban in the UK, with a focus on refillable devices to enter the market.
PIXl staff members stated that for new brands like PIXL, the opportunity lies in the fact that they do not have any historical baggage and were designed from the beginning to comply with new regulations. If they can offer more appealing compliant products than established giants, they may have the potential to quickly capture market share in this transformation.
According to SLR reports, some retail employees have stated that both before and after the ban, PIXL arranged for sales representatives to visit stores to promote products that meet the new regulations, accelerating the brand's penetration rate.
