The National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) has partnered with Altria to offer its members discounted on!® nicotine pouches through the NGCOA platform. In 2024, shipments from Altria’s Helix unit surged 40%, with on!® sales topping 160 million cans.

【2Firsts News Flash】According to a report by First Call on July 13, Altria Group's subsidiary, Helix Innovations, has entered into an exclusive partnership with the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA). Helix's product, the nicotine pouches on!, will be offered to NGCOA members at discounted prices through the Smart Buy member purchasing platform.

 

Mike Ketterman, Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships at NGCOA, stated that this partnership will further drive the golf industry's demand for alternative nicotine products while also supporting NGCOA's key initiatives.

 

According to data, Helix Innovations, as the manufacturer of on!, will be listed as a long-term executive partner for multiple important activities organized by NGCOA, including the Multi-course and Resort Operators Summit, Golf Business & Tech Conference, and Golf Business Conference.

 

Nick MacPhee, Managing Director and General Manager of Helix Innovations, expressed his excitement to collaborate with the NGCOA to target thousands of nicotine pouch consumers aged 21 and above who are passionate about golf. The packaging of on! comes with a disposable pouch storage compartment, which helps reduce litter and maintain the cleanliness of golf courses.

 

According to reports, Helix is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Altria Group.
