According to recent LinkedIn posts from people at VAPORESSO, SMOORE and a German distribution partner, vape brand DOJO will begin introducing a new global brand identity from September 1, 2026. The most visible change is a redesigned handwritten logo, with the new visual system set to be gradually applied across product packaging, marketing materials and digital assets.

Anna Sliwa, UK Brand Operations Director at VAPORESSO, said in a LinkedIn post that the change would begin on September 1. Courtney Mather, FMCG Regional Manager – North at SMOORE, said in another DOJO-related post that the brand would introduce its new global identity from that date and adopt a redesigned handwritten logo.

Mather described the new logo as reflecting the brand’s energy, authenticity and continued drive to move forward.

New Identity to Be Applied Across Packaging and Digital Assets

Fabio Corsaro, Head of Marketing and Purchasing at MG Wesel GmbH, said in a LinkedIn post that the change represented a full rebrand and that DOJO-branded packaging, marketing materials and digital assets would gradually transition to the new visual identity over the following months.

The rollout areas explicitly identified in the posts include:

● product packaging;

● marketing materials;

● digital assets.

The brand transition will therefore take place gradually rather than through a single simultaneous switch across all materials.

Trademark Explanation Remains Unconfirmed

Corsaro said in his LinkedIn post that, according to internal information, the rebrand had become necessary because of trademark issues.

2Firsts has not found a public statement from DOJO, VAPORESSO or SMOORE confirming that explanation.

What can currently be confirmed is that DOJO will begin rolling out a new global brand identity on September 1. Whether trademark issues directly prompted the change remains subject to further clarification from the brand.

DOJO and VAPORESSO Brand Relationship

DOJO’s official materials use the “DOJO by Vaporesso” branding.

DOJO’s official About page also states that VAPORESSO was founded by SMOORE in 2015.

German distributor MG Wesel GmbH lists “DOJO powered by Vaporesso” among the brands for which it acts as a Master Distributor.

Australia’s One Nation Proposes 75% Tobacco Tax Cut, Says Lower Prices Could Hit Illicit Market
Australia’s One Nation party has proposed cutting tobacco excise by 75%, arguing that lower legal cigarette prices could narrow the gap with illicit tobacco and reduce demand for black-market products. The proposal comes as Australia continues expanding enforcement against illicit tobacco supply chains through border controls, retail inspections and organised-crime investigations. Supporters argue high taxes have contributed to illicit-market growth, while opponents warn that lower tobacco prices could undermine public-health goals. The proposal is a party policy position and has not been adopted by the Australian government.

Reuters Tracks Big Tobacco’s Shift Beyond Cigarettes as Nicotine Pouches Vie for the Next Growth Curve
As cigarette markets face long-term pressure, major tobacco companies are increasingly turning to nicotine pouches in search of growth beyond combustible tobacco. Reuters has examined whether nicotine pouches can become the next strategic growth platform for companies including Philip Morris International, British American Tobacco and Japan Tobacco. PMI strengthened its position through the acquisition of Swedish Match and its ZYN brand, while BAT and JTI continue expanding their own nicotine pouch portfolios. The category has gained attention because of its smoke-free, device-free format, but regulation, youth-use concerns and market scale will determine whether it can become a long-term growth engine.
