China's e-cigarette exports to Belgium in September 2023 reach $8.26 million, experiencing a 23.91% decrease compared to the previous month.

According to the updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has compiled the e-cigarette exports to Belgium in September 2023 as follows:

The export value amounted to approximately $8.26 million, marking a month-on-month decrease of 23.91% and a year-on-year decrease of 20.68%.

The export volume is approximately 125 tons, marking a 28.37% decrease compared to the previous period and a 7.27% decrease compared to the same period last year.

The export unit price reached $65.98 per kilogram, registering a sequential increase of 6.22% but a year-on-year decline of 14.46%. The average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" stood at $4.1 per unit.

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" accounted for 0.86% of the export product category, while "non-combustible use products without tobacco or reconstituted tobacco, containing nicotine" accounted for 99.14%.

According to data from Statista, the revenue of the e-cigarette market in Belgium is projected to reach $238.4 million by 2023. The market is expected to grow at an annual rate of 1.84% (compounded annual growth rate from 2023 to 2028). The per capita e-cigarette consumption in Belgium is estimated to be $22.90 in 2023. The e-cigarette market in Belgium is currently experiencing a surge in popularity, with an increasing number of young people choosing e-cigarettes as a trendy alternative to traditional smoking.
