 On June 25th, British American Tobacco (BAT) CEO Tadeu Marroco announced on the professional networking site LinkedIn that the company has officially launched its flagship heated tobacco product glo Hilo in Sendai, Japan, describing it as "the most groundbreaking high-end innovation product the company has seen so far.

This launch is a key component of the vision of BAT to "build a smoke-free world and create a better tomorrow." It is reported that glo Hilo was test marketed in the Sendai region of Japan in June this year, and is planned to be launched nationwide in Japan in September.
