On September 20th, local time in Germany, the 2Firsts team had an in-depth exchange with Jun Young Chang, Assistant Manager at KT&G Global Headquarters, at the Dortmund Tobacco Expo. Jun Young Chang told 2Firsts that they brought about 15 products to the exhibition, mainly promoting traditional slim cigarettes. HNB products are equipped with detachable devices, and they are about to launch the vape brand myon globally. In the future, they will make more flexible arrangements based on consumer demand in each region.

Jun Young Chang informed 2Firsts that KT&G is working on expanding its product line and will soon be launching the vape brand myon globally. However, at the trade show, only product brochures were displayed, with no physical products showcased.

According to information posted by myon on their official social media platform, Instagram, the company has released four flavors of e-cigarettes: mint, blueberry, pineapple, and mangosteen. Each e-cigarette has a puff count of 700 and a 2ml e-liquid capacity. The official selling price is approximately 15,000 Mongolian Tugrik (4 to 5 USD). The nicotine concentration in the mint flavor is 3%, while the other three flavors have a nicotine concentration of 1.8%. It is reported that there are over 800 shops in Mongolia currently selling myon products.
Jun Young Chang stated that KT&G is actively seeking distributors and planning to expand globally.

HNBHNB: New detachable device added for smoother texture.
KT&G has unveiled its upgraded and innovative HNB products at this exhibition. Jun Young Chang explained to 2Firsts.
The uniqueness of the HNB products showcased this time lies in the addition of a detachable device to enhance the taste of the smoke, making it denser and more similar to the flavor of an e-cigarette compared to GLO.
Currently, this HNB product has been launched in South Korea this year and will be promoted globally in the future.
Traditional slim cigarettes: Seeking distributors in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East region.
As KT&G's star product, traditional slim cigarettes are highly popular among young consumers due to their low tar content. Traditional slim cigarettes remain a key product showcased by KT&G at this exhibition.

Jun Young Chang, along with 2Firsts, shared the sales performance of their traditional slim cigarettes globally. Currently, sales are booming in the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Far East markets, with a leading position in the Mongolian market. The South African and South American markets have shown positive responses, but competition is weak in European and North American markets.
KT&G exhibited slim cigarettes this time, hoping to find distributors in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, in order to fill the market gap for slim cigarettes.
Jun Young Chang also expressed that in the future, KT&G will promote products tailored to the specific needs of consumers in each market, opening up a more flexible strategic layout.
