Product | DOJO Launches 0+6ml BLAST7K Fresh in UK in September, Retaining 2+8ml Pod Compatibility Ahead of October Per-Milliliter Vaping Duty
DOJO officially launched the BLAST7K Fresh on September 17, 2026, introducing a UK-market prefilled pod product with 6ml of e-liquid and a manufacturer-rated capacity of up to 7,000 puffs. The device features a 1000mAh rechargeable battery, the INSTA-JUICED structure and COREX BLAST dual-mesh technology, while retaining compatibility with existing BLAST pods. The launch comes less than two weeks before the UK's Vaping Products Duty takes effect on October 1. At the new duty rate, 6ml of vaping liquid would correspond to £1.32 in VPD. DOJO has not stated that the product's 6ml format was designed in response to the new duty.

Key Points

  • DOJO officially launched BLAST7K Fresh on September 17 for the UK market, with a manufacturer-rated capacity of up to 7,000 puffs.
  • The product uses an INSTA-JUICED configuration consisting of a 2ml empty pod and a 6ml prefilled refill container, alongside a 1000mAh rechargeable battery.
  • BLAST7K Fresh is compatible with the broader BLAST pod range, including pods associated with BLAST10K and BLAST30K PRO. DOJO says the compatible ecosystem spans 40 flavors and 10mg and 20mg nicotine strengths.
  • The product also introduces DOJO's updated logo and four exterior design themes.
  • The UK's Vaping Products Duty takes effect on October 1 at £2.20 per 10ml of vaping liquid. At that rate, 6ml corresponds to £1.32 in duty.
  • DOJO has not linked the BLAST7K Fresh's 6ml capacity directly to the incoming UK duty.

September 20, 2026

According to information released by DOJO on September 17, 2026, the brand has introduced BLAST7K Fresh in the UK, featuring 6ml of e-liquid, a 1000mAh rechargeable battery and a manufacturer-rated capacity of up to 7,000 puffs. The device carries over DOJO's INSTA-JUICED and COREX BLAST technologies and supports existing pods across the BLAST range.

6ml Format Expands the Fresh Lineup

BLAST7K Fresh extends the Fresh product architecture recently introduced by DOJO in the UK. Compared with BLAST10K Fresh, which carries 10ml of e-liquid, the new model reduces e-liquid capacity to 6ml and has a correspondingly lower manufacturer-rated puff count of up to 7,000.

DOJO describes BLAST7K Fresh as a more accessible addition to the Fresh range and says it retains the same core functionality and performance as BLAST10K Fresh, with puff capacity serving as the principal distinction.

The product uses DOJO's INSTA-JUICED architecture and comes with a 2ml empty pod and a 6ml prefilled refill container. The e-liquid is kept separate from the atomizing section before activation. DOJO says the configuration is intended to limit the effects associated with prolonged contact between e-liquid and the coil during storage; freshness-performance figures remain manufacturer claims.

Compatibility Extends Across the BLAST Pod Range

BLAST7K Fresh does not establish a separate closed consumables ecosystem. According to DOJO, the device can use pods across the BLAST range, including the newer 0+10ml pods and compatible consumables previously used with other BLAST products.

DOJO says the broader compatible ecosystem covers about 40 flavors across 10mg and 20mg nicotine strengths. The approach allows devices at different capacity tiers, including 7K and 10K formats, to share parts of the existing BLAST pod ecosystem.

BLAST7K Fresh itself launches in 10 flavors: Blue Razz Lemonade, Black Grape, Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Cool Menthol, Fizzy Cherry, Lemon Lime, Pineapple Ice, Strawberry Ice, Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice and Watermelon Ice.

New DOJO Logo Debuts Alongside Four Design Themes

BLAST7K Fresh also forms part of an update to DOJO's brand presentation. The device carries a redesigned DOJO logo and is offered in four exterior themes: Dragon Trail, Surf Route, Aloha Palm and Lemon Pop.

The four names refer to visual designs rather than flavors. Flavor selection remains tied to the pod variants.

DOJO is associated with VAPORESSO, with official communications using wording including “powered by VAPORESSO.” UK regulatory records for parts of the DOJO BLAST range identify Shenzhen Smoore Technology Limited as the submitter.

UK Vaping Duty Starts in October

BLAST7K Fresh arrives shortly before a significant change to the UK's vaping tax regime.

The UK's Vaping Products Duty will take effect on October 1, 2026. HM Revenue & Customs has set a flat rate of £2.20 per 10ml of vaping liquid, equivalent to £0.22 per ml, regardless of whether the liquid contains nicotine.

DOJO lists BLAST7K Fresh as containing 6ml of e-liquid, while the accompanying 2ml pod is empty in its initial configuration. Applying HMRC's published rate to the stated liquid volume gives a theoretical VPD liability of:

6ml × £0.22 = £1.32

By comparison, 10ml of vaping liquid corresponds to £2.20 in VPD, producing a theoretical duty difference of £0.88 between the two liquid volumes.

The UK will introduce its Vaping Duty Stamps Scheme on the same date. Newly liable products manufactured or imported for the UK market will be subject to the VPD and duty-stamp requirements under the new regime, while qualifying existing unstamped inventory is subject to transitional arrangements.

DOJO has not said that the 6ml capacity of BLAST7K Fresh was developed in response to VPD. Current UK retail pricing also does not yet show a consistent price ladder between the 7K and 10K models, with some retailers listing the two products at the same promotional price.

Industry Perspective: Volume-Based Duty Adds a New Cost Variable

BLAST7K Fresh gives DOJO another e-liquid capacity and puff-count tier on a broadly shared technology platform. The 7K model retains the 1000mAh battery, INSTA-JUICED architecture and BLAST pod compatibility while reducing the supplied e-liquid volume to 6ml.

The UK's VPD will directly link e-liquid volume to the absolute excise liability of each product. Under the flat £0.22-per-ml rate, products built around similar device platforms can carry different duty amounts depending on the volume of vaping liquid supplied.

As the VPD and duty-stamp regime takes effect in October, the interaction between e-liquid capacity, retail pricing and cross-compatible consumables will become one indicator of how prefilled pod portfolios evolve in the UK.
