Shunhao Expands Global Footprint With Dual Focus on Vapes and Industrial Hemp
Shunhao obtains multiple vape production licenses, expands new tobacco and industrial hemp operations, and applies for trademarks to enhance branding and packaging businesses.

Recently, an investor asked Shanghai Shunho New Materials Technology Co., Ltd (002565.SZ) via an interactive platform about the company's progress in obtaining vape licenses, the recruitment of overseas (Japan) business development personnel by its wholly-owned subsidiary Yunnan Green New Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and whether Japan is intended as a global hub for Shunhao’s industrial hemp business. The investor also inquired about the significance of the three trademarks applied for on July 3, questioning if they indicate new plans for vape branding and related industries.

In response, Shunhao stated:

Vape Licenses:

As of now, the company’s subsidiary, Shenzhen Green New Technology Co., Ltd., has obtained a "Tobacco Monopoly Production Enterprise License" for vape manufacturing. Its associate company, Shenzhen Meizhonglian Technology Co., Ltd., has received a "Tobacco Monopoly Production Enterprise License" for vape product manufacturing. Additionally, the company’s subsidiary, Shanghai Shunhao Yilong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., has secured a "Tobacco Monopoly Production Enterprise License" for domestic sales of vape brands. The "Yilong" vape brand under Shunhao Yilong has already been launched in select retail stores in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai. The company plans to intensify its research, development, and production efforts to expand its presence across the entire new tobacco industrial chain under policy-compliant conditions.

Industrial Hemp Overseas Expansion:

Since 2024, the company has been making comprehensive advancements in core talent, patents, and technology related to industrial hemp. It is also extending its reach into the overseas industrial hemp market, strengthening domestic and international business integration. While strictly adhering to relevant laws and regulations, Shunhao plans to explore applications of industrial hemp in legal regions across sectors such as food, health products, biopharmaceuticals, new tobacco, and personal care products. The company aims to deepen its global industrial hemp operations in processing, research, application, and sales, leveraging the rapid growth of the global industrial hemp industry to enhance its competitiveness.

Trademark Applications:

On July 3, the company applied for three new trademarks, with registration numbers 79588408, 79594251, and 79594247, corresponding to Class 16 (office supplies), Class 35 (advertising and sales), and Class 34 (tobacco and smoking accessories), respectively. These trademarks aim to establish a unified brand image for cigarette label printing and packaging materials. The trademarks are currently under registration review and have not yet been granted exclusive rights. Detailed strategies regarding the new tobacco sector can be found in the company’s periodic reports.

Shunhao emphasized its commitment to compliant operations and seizing opportunities in the global new tobacco and industrial hemp industries to enhance its competitiveness.
