Analysis of China's E-cigarette Exports to the Netherlands in March 2024
China's e-cigarette exports to the Netherlands in March 2024 show a significant increase in value, quantity, and unit price.

According to the latest trade data from the General Administration of Customs, 2FIRSTS has compiled the e-cigarette export data from China to the Netherlands in March 2024. Details are as follows:

 

The export volume reached approximately 32.13 million US dollars, increasing by 17.92% on a month-on-month basis and by 25.80% on a year-on-year basis.

The export volume is approximately 854 tons, representing a 9.12% increase compared to the previous period and a 71.09% increase compared to the same period last year.

The export unit price is $37.62 per kilogram, representing an increase of 8.07% compared to the previous period and a decrease of 26.47% year-on-year. The average price for "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporization devices" is $20.47 per unit.

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" account for 20.81% of the export category, while "products containing nicotine that are not made from tobacco or reconstituted tobacco and are used without combustion" account for 79.19%.

Imperial Brands Acquires Helwit Owner Yoik Group for SEK 515 Million, More Than Doubling Swedish Nicotine Pouch Share
Imperial Brands has agreed to acquire 100% of Swedish modern oral nicotine company Yoik Group AB for an initial SEK515 million, equivalent to about US$53.9 million, plus a deferred payment linked to performance over the next two years. Yoik owns nicotine pouch brand Helwit, which held about 3.4% of Sweden’s modern oral nicotine market over the past 12 months. Imperial says the acquisition will more than double its existing share of the Swedish market. Helwit is also sold elsewhere in the Nordics, through European online channels and in selected UK retail outlets.

New York vape distributor Ecto World, which operates as Demand Vape, hired political consultant Roger Stone to lobby the Executive Office of the President on regulation of vaping and related products while facing state enforcement and multiple lawsuits. AIR Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of AIR Global, has launched an offering of U.S. dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes, with proceeds primarily intended to repay its existing term loan and revolving credit facility.
