BAT Introduces Vuse Vape in Russian Market
British American Tobacco (BAT) has started selling vapeVuse in Russia after selling its Russian and Belarusian operations.

According to a report by Russian business newspaper on September 12, British American Tobacco (BAT) has started selling vape product Vuse in Russia after selling its operations in Russia and Belarus to a management team from Russia.

 

According to data from the Russian Intellectual Property Office in August 2023, BAT has submitted an application for the registration of the Vuse Pro trademark.

 

The media reports that Vuse, the first disposable e-cigarette brand launched by a major market participant in Russia, has introduced three products in the Russian market. These include the Vuse Pro, priced at 1,300 rubles, which can be used for 5,000 puffs; the Vuse Go, priced at 800 rubles, which offers 1,500 puffs; and the Vuse Go, priced at 550 rubles, allowing for 600 puffs. All of these products are also available in stores carrying the glo brand.

 

Earlier, BAT announced its agreement to sell its businesses in Russia and Belarus to a consortium led by a Russian management team. The buyer is a consortium led by the BAT Russia management team. After the completion of the transaction, these two enterprises will belong to them, while the original trademarks will remain unchanged.
