British-American Tobacco Korea is actively engaged in ESG operations, having set up 20 flower beds in Seoul to improve city landscapes and deter littering.

According to a report from Naver on November 22nd, British American Tobacco Korea is actively engaging in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. The company has currently set up 20 flower beds in over 10 areas including Jung-gu and Gwangyi-gu in Seoul, aiming to prevent unauthorized littering and enhance the urban landscape.


British American Tobacco (BAT) is transforming tobacco materials into environmentally friendly paper and has planned and organized the "Flower Basket BAT" movement in order to improve the overall quality of cities. The movement involves placing flower beds in areas where it is habitual to litter cigarette butts and rubbish.
