The founder and organizer of the exhibition, Ira Simeonidis, announced this news through social media and "The Hall of Vape" official website. In a letter addressed to exhibitors, attendees, and partners, Simeonidis openly admitted that this was not an easy decision.

The statement is translated into English as follows:

Dear exhibitors, audience, and partners:

We regret to inform you that "The Hall of Vape" event, originally scheduled for May 2025, will not take place. This decision was not taken lightly, as we have worked together with you for many years to create a unique platform for the e-cigarette community - something that we all truly take pride in.

However, in recent years, we have observed and experienced some changes that have prompted us to make this decision. Firstly, the number of German exhibitors has steadily decreased. Additionally, due to changes in the legal framework, the interest of international exhibitors has significantly declined. At the same time, we have also noticed a decrease in the number of visitors in the past few years.

Unfortunately, all of these factors have made it impossible for us to organize an event that meets your expectations and deserves high quality and diversity.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone for their loyalty, trust, and support over the past decade. "THE HALL OF VAPE" has always been more than just an e-cigarette exhibition, it is a place for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and strengthening the industry and community. Organized by e-cigarette enthusiasts, for e-cigarette enthusiasts. The crowded halls filled with vapor, thousands of e-cigarette fans waiting outside an hour before opening, pre-show activities, guests from around the world, and our special guests - these memories will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Despite having to cancel the event in 2025, we want to emphasize that we still believe in the importance of e-cigarettes for smokers and the unity of the e-cigarette community. We will continue to closely monitor industry developments and consider potential future events (such as "The Hall of Vape" in 2026?), new formats, or opportunities to continue this tradition in the future.

Despite the unfortunate news, we still wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and all the best. We wish everyone good health.

We extend our sincere greetings.

According to reports, The Hall of Vape is one of the long-standing exhibitions in the European e-cigarette industry. It has been held continuously since 2016, except for a two-year hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, and is scheduled to continue until 2024.

Simoni Dis explained, "Firstly, the number of German exhibitors continues to decline. Additionally, due to changing legal regulations, international exhibitors' interest has significantly weakened. At the same time, we have also observed a decrease in the number of attendees in recent years." He concluded that these reasons have made it impossible to organize an event with the same quality standards and diversity as in previous years.

Although we had to cancel the 2025 event, we still believe in the importance of e-cigarettes for smokers and the unity of the e-cigarette community. We will continue to closely monitor industry developments and consider hosting new events in the future (such as The Hall of Vape in 2026), new formats, or opportunities to continue this tradition.

Oklahoma DOC to allow inmates to buy nicotine vapes and pouches in 2026
Oklahoma’s Department of Corrections says it will begin allowing inmates to buy single-use nicotine vapes and nicotine pouches through prison canteens in 2026, framing the move as a strategy to reduce contraband-driven debts and prison violence. Officials say inmates will be barred from using personal nicotine products, the devices will be disposable and non-cartridge-based, and the program will be self-funded through inmate purchases rather than taxpayer money.

DTI drafts administrative order proposing an open-pod and e-liquid ban and opens it for public consultation
Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) proposed move to restrict harmful vape products to protect young people, but said only a total ban on all vaping and novel tobacco products would effectively safeguard public health. The group warned that limiting rules to certain products such as open pods and e-liquids could create a “dangerous behavioral loophole,” leading users—especially youth—to switch to disposable or closed-system alternatives instead of quitting.
