China's E-cigarette Exports in December 2023 Surge Significantly
China's e-cigarette exports in December 2023 reached approximately $1.099 billion, with a 16.78% MoM growth and a 9.81% YoY growth, according to China's General Administration of Customs.

According to the latest trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has compiled the overall export data of e-cigarettes from China in December 2023. The details are as follows:

The export value reached approximately $1.099 billion, marking a sequential increase of 16.78% and a year-on-year growth of 9.81%.

The export volume reached approximately 25,414 tons, with a month-on-month growth of 13.42% and a year-on-year growth of 43.08%.

The export unit price stood at $43.23 per kilogram, witnessing a month-on-month increase of 2.96% but a year-on-year decline of 23.25%. The export unit price has continuously rebounded for the second consecutive month, nearing the level observed in September 2023. Additionally, the average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" was $4.97 per unit.

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizer devices" accounted for 22.37% of the export product categories, while "non-combustible products containing nicotine without tobacco or reconstituted tobacco for oral use" accounted for 77.63%.
