Colombian Congresswoman Cathy Juvinao Caught Using E-Cigarette in Session
Colombian congresswoman Cathy Juvinao caught using e-cigarette during session, violating new laws, sparking public debate on enforcement.

On December 17th, according to diariolalibertad, Colombian House of Representatives member Cathy Juvinao was caught using an e-cigarette at that day's plenary session.

At the time, the leader who was presiding over the meeting was calling out Zhu Weino, and the camera happened to capture her using an e-cigarette. Realizing this serious mistake, Zhu Weino tried to cover it up, but everything had already been fully recorded and quickly went viral on social media.

It is worth noting that earlier this year, the national government enacted Law 2359, which clearly defines the conditions for the use of e-cigarettes in Colombia. The new regulation prohibits the use of such products in enclosed areas in the workplace and/or public spaces. This event has undoubtedly sparked widespread discussion on the enforcement of this law.
