InterTabac 2025 Insights|RELX Unveils “Vaporless” Showcase Cabinet Featuring Nicotine Airpouch and Prototype Vaporless Device
At InterTabac 2025, RELX’s oral-nicotine showcase featured leaf-shaped Nicotine Airpouch products under the WAKA, RELX, and DOSH brands, alongside a prototype “vaporless oral product.” The device produces no visible aerosol upon exhalation during light puffs and is currently for exhibition only, with no confirmed launch timeline. RELX also displayed a nose-inhaled e-cigarette that differs from conventional mouth-inhaled vaping by requiring nasal inhalation.

2Firsts, September 19, 2025, Dortmund, Germany — InterTabac 2025 runs from September 18 to 20. During the show, 2Firsts toured the halls to track new releases and industry developments, bringing first-hand intelligence and trend insights across the novel-nicotine sector.

On site, 2Firsts observed that the RELX booth set up a dedicated cabinet for oral-nicotine products. In addition to the leaf-shaped Nicotine Airpouch lines from WAKA, RELX, and DOSH, a “vaporless oral product” was also on display.

The product’s official name has not yet been disclosed, though multiple flavors were labeled. Its exterior follows the WAKA soReal design. After hands-on testing by the 2Firsts team, the device produced no visible exhaled vapor during small, light puffs.

According to booth staff, the product is currently a display sample only. It may be introduced later depending on regional customer demand, but there is no market launch plan at this time.

Notably, the “vaporless e-cigarette” concept has already been explored within the industry:

  • January 2025: NEXA launched the NEXA ULTRA InvisaCloud Edition, which the brand claims to be “the world’s first vaporless vaping device.”

  • April 2025: SKE introduced Cloud Zero, featuring a dual-tank design and a vaporless draw experience; in Vaporless Mode it offers a “no-vapor” inhalation option.

In addition, RELX showcased a nose-inhaled e-cigarette, Hoonose 1500. Following an online check, 2Firsts found that this product is already listed on e-commerce vape sites targeting Thai-language consumers. Unlike conventional mouth-inhaled atomization, Hoonose 1500 is designed to be inhaled through the nasal cavity.
