Indonesian Customs Destroys Millions of Cigarettes and Alcohol
Indonesia's Bogor Customs destroys millions of cigarettes and alcoholic beverages worth $83,000 to combat potential tax evasion.

According to a report from Indonesian media outlet Okezone on November 16th, the Bogor Customs in Indonesia has destroyed millions of cigarette packs and alcoholic beverages.

 

The Port of Maowu has announced that the total value of the goods destroyed in this operation amounts to 1,291,971,000 Indonesian Rupiahs (approximately 8.3 thousand US dollars), with a potential consumption tax revenue of 3,275,261,000 Indonesian Rupiahs (approximately 21 thousand US dollars).
