Ispire Technology Inc. Reports Strong Financial Performance in Q1 2024
Ispire Technology Inc., a Nasdaq-listed company, announced its financial report for Q1 of FY2024 with revenue growth of 59.1%.

On November 14th, Ispire Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: ISPR), a company listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange, released its financial report for the first quarter of the 2024 fiscal year, which ended on September 30th, 2023.

 

In the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024, the operating revenue reached $42.9 million, a year-on-year increase of 59.1%. Among them, the revenue from tobacco e-cigarette products increased by 34.8% to reach $25.5 million, while revenue from cannabis e-cigarette products increased by 116.8% to reach $17.3 million. The gross profit reached $6.9 million, recording a growth of 43.7%. Meanwhile, the total operating expenses increased from $6 million in the same period of 2023 to $7.8 million, showing a growth of 29.8%.

 

According to reports, Ispire sells its tobacco products under the brand Aspire, primarily through its distribution network worldwide (excluding the United States, the People's Republic of China, and Russia). Ispire's cannabis products are mainly sold to other cannabis vaporizer companies under the original design manufacturer (ODM) model, using the Ispire brand. Currently, Ispire only sells its cannabis e-cigarette hardware in the United States and has recently launched marketing campaigns in Canada and Europe (primarily the European Union).

British American Tobacco’s (BAT) nicotine pouch brand Velo has released a global consumer study and launched its “Echoes of Tomorrowland” campaign with electronic music festival brand Tomorrowland. The research surveyed 2,009 nicotine users across the UK, Spain, Pakistan, Poland and Austria. Velo said 61% of respondents feel more comfortable expressing themselves when they see others doing the same, while 39% said building meaningful connections becomes harder with age. The campaign reflects how nicotine pouch brands are increasingly using music, communities and lifestyle marketing to build consumer engagement.

Police in Malaysia’s Selangor state seized illegal vape products and contraband cigarettes worth about RM12.7 million (approximately $3 million) in two enforcement operations. According to New Straits Times and The Star, the vape-related operation uncovered 131,036 boxes of vape products, 4,900 bottles of e-liquid and 25,510 vape devices, valued at about RM9.4 million. On July 23, 2026, the U.S. House of Representatives passed its version of the Fiscal Year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which includes Section 707 provisions requiring the Department of Defense to evaluate tobacco use and nicotine alternatives among military personnel. The pilot program would examine products including vapes, nicotine pouches and heated tobacco products, primarily among active-duty service members who continue using combustible tobacco.
