KT&G Holds Shareholders Meeting at Talent Development Center

KT&G to hold shareholder meeting at "KT&G Talent Development Center" to discuss financial reports, board elections, and more.

According to a report by South Korean media Mbnmoney, the current president of South Korea's leading tobacco company KT&G, Bai Furen, recently held a board meeting to decide to hold a shareholders' meeting within the "KT&G Talent Development Center." The meeting will discuss multiple agenda items, including approving financial reports, amending company bylaws, and electing new directors.

According to shareholders' suggestions, two new directors will be chosen from among four director candidates through a centralized voting process. In addition, new nominees including Bak Gyeong-man and Lim Min-Kyu will also be proposed as representative directors. It is worth mentioning that Bak Gyeong-man, as the company's leading candidate, has been highly respected and is expected to help KT&G achieve global expansion.

A senior official from KT&G, who chose not to reveal their name, stated that the company will continue to respect the rights of shareholders and will consider their proposals by including all suggestions in the agenda of the meeting.
