New Camel Pod Flavors for Ploom X Advanced Released in Japan
Japanese Tobacco (JT) will launch two new Ploom X Advanced pods, Camel Purple Option and Camel Menthol Fresh, starting October 1.

According to ASCII's report on September 3, Japan Tobacco (JT) will begin rolling out two new types of pods for use with the heating tobacco device "Ploom X Advanced" in convenience stores and tobacco specialty shops nationwide starting from October 1. The new pods are named "Camel Purple Option" and "Camel Menthol Fresh".


The "Camel Purple Option" is characterized by a fruity aroma and juicy sweetness, while the "Camel Menthol Fresh" offers a refreshing cool sensation and a balanced tobacco flavor.


The new product will be available for purchase to consumers through CLUB JT online store, nationwide Ploom Shops, Ploom STAND, as well as select convenience stores and tobacco shops. Each pack will be priced at 500 yen (including tax) ($3.43), with 20 pods in each pack.

On September 4th, a team from the Manisa Provincial Gendarmerie Command seized a large quantity of smuggled cigarettes and e-cigarettes during an operation and detained a suspect. A search of the suspect's vehicle revealed 137 e-cigarettes, 530 packs of smuggled cigarettes, and 41 boxes of nicotine gum. The vehicle was towed to a trustee's parking lot, and the suspect has been charged with violating Law No. 5607 on Combating Smuggling.
