【2Firsts news flash】According to a report by 072info on July 4, Philip Morris International (PMI) has launched the IQOS ILUMA series in Bosnia and Herzegovina (referred to as "BiH"), including the IQOS ILUMA PRIME, IQOS ILUMA, and IQOS ILUMA ONE.

 

The IQOS ILUMA series utilizes SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology, eliminating the need to heat tobacco, and comes in various designs to cater to consumers' different preferences.

 

Ivan Trizno, General Manager of Philip Morris International (PMI) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated that the company has been dedicated to researching and scientifically evaluating smoke-free products for over a decade in order to provide a better choice based on science and technology. With the recent launch of IQOS ILUMA, the company hopes to further expand its user base.

 

The latest device is equipped with a touchscreen device, allowing users to conveniently access usage information. The pause mode and FlexBattery feature of the IQOS ILUMA also allow users to customize battery usage and experience.

 

According to reports, Philip Morris International (PMI) has invested over $14 billion in research, scientific authentication, and sales of innovative smoke-free products since 2008, with the goal of gradually phasing out cigarette sales. The company currently offers smoke-free products in 95 markets globally and estimates 38.6 million users by the end of 2024. Smoke-free products also accounted for 42% of the company's total net revenue in the first quarter of 2025.
