Philippine Police Seize Drug Dealers with 51 Marijuana Pods
Philippine authorities arrested three drug traffickers and seized 51 suspected cannabis oil-filled electronic pods in Candelaria City.

According to Filipino media ndbcnews, on April 12, the Philippine police arrested three drug traffickers near Purok Maunlad in General Santos City, Korondal, and seized 51 electronic pods suspected to contain cannabis oil.

 

The crackdown was carried out by a special enforcement team from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency. The illegal goods seized in the operation were estimated to be worth 178,500 pesos ($3,156), with each electronic pod valued at 3,500 pesos ($61.89).

 

Currently, the department will prosecute three suspects according to Sections 5 and 11 of the Republican Act 9165.
