PMI Mexico Launches IQOS ILUMA for Smoke-Free Future
PMI Mexico launches IQOS ILUMA, a new smoke-free technology device, aiming to lead Mexico towards a smoke-free future.

According to Mexican media SDP Noticias, on April 29th, Philip Morris International (PMI) Mexico successfully guided the audience towards a higher stage by launching its latest technological product, IQOS ILUMA.

This cutting-edge technology represents a significant advancement for the company in achieving its core mission: "to provide better products and keep the 17 million smokers across the country away from cigarettes."

This new device, which reflects Philip Morris International's commitment to innovation, is the result of over 15 years of research and development. Similarly, the company has reiterated its goal of turning Mexico into a smoke-free country by ceasing the sale of cigarettes and investing in the development of technological devices.

IQOS ILUMA comes in three different forms: IQOS ILUMA Prime, IQOS ILUMA, and IQOS ILUMA One. These are new tobacco use options designed for adults, aiming to provide the pleasure of smoking without smoke or ash. However, these products do not diminish their potential risks and contain addictive nicotine.

Developing devices like IQOS ILUMA is crucial for building a future where tobacco products are completely replaced by smoke-free alternatives. While quitting smoking is always the best option, for those who choose not to quit, they have the right to know that there are better alternatives to tobacco.

To celebrate this significant achievement, the company held a unique event at Lake Argo in Chapultepec Forest. The event featured performances by British bands Jungle, Hercules & Love Affair, and a club, offering something for everyone. The venue included a top-notch bar and mixology team from Handshake Speakeasy, ranked as the best bar in the world, providing professional cocktail services.

The event was undoubtedly a sensory celebration that truly showcased technology and style, attracting many IQOS consumers in Mexico. CEO of PMI Mexico, Manuel Chinchilla, thanked all attendees for their loyalty and trust, and reiterated the possibility of a smoke-free future.
