Proposal to Ban E-Cigarette Sales in Kamа Region
Per progorod59, Governor Dmitry Makhonin plans to ban the sale of e-cigarettes in the Kamensk area, citing concerns about location.

According to a report by progorod59 on September 25th, Dmitry Makhonin, the Governor of the Perm Krai region, has announced plans to prohibit the sale of e-cigarettes at vending kiosks in the Kam Region.

He wrote on his social media page that e-cigarette sales points are being set up in the busiest locations - along the routes to educational institutions and near buildings.

Dmitri Mahoning has reported that in September 2023, police conducted inspections on 380 e-cigarette retailers in Solikamsk, Perm, Kungur, Kudymkar, and Berezniki. He further added that he recommends implementing a regional law to completely prohibit the sale of e-cigarettes at kiosks.

The bill is currently gaining approval and will soon be submitted for review to the legislative council of the Kamata region.
