Resumption Dates for WHO FCTC COP10 and MOP3 Announced
The World Health Organization has announced the resumption dates for the COP10 and MOP3 meetings in 2024.

According to an announcement from the World Health Organization on November 27th, the resumption dates for the Tenth Session of the Conference of the Parties to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (COP10) and the Third Session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products (MOP3) have been scheduled for February 5th, 2024.

 

In the announcement, it was mentioned that after consultation with the host country Panama, the resumption dates for COP10 and MOP3 have been confirmed. The specific schedule is as follows:

 

The COP10 meeting of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control will resume from Monday, February 5, 2024 to Saturday, February 10, 2024. The MOP3 meeting of the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products will resume from Monday, February 12, 2024 to Thursday, February 15, 2024. The World Health Organization expressed its anticipation for the participation of all contracting parties in the upcoming supervisory meetings of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products. The Secretariat of the conventions, in collaboration with the host country, remains committed to the life-saving work of tobacco control.
