2Firsts, October 28, 2025 — 2Firsts has observed that e-cigarette brand Sikary recently launched a new disposable, Sikary Fit, on its official website and in UAE retail channels. According to the brand, the device features an ultra-thin 13 mm metal body, a 12 mL e-liquid capacity, and a claimed 12,000 puffs. 2Firsts compiled the key specifications for the Sikary Fit, summarized in the figure below.

From the specs, the Sikary Fit measures 42 × 13 × 116 mm. For reference, recent slim, portable 2 mL pod-swap devices like Lost Mary Glayce and ELFBAR ELFA Stein (limited edition) have widths/diameters of 21.5 mm and 16.8 mm, respectively. Compared with those, the Fit’s 13 mm thickness is notably slimmer among disposables.

On its official site, Sikary describes the Fit as “Ultra-Thin, Ultra-Puffs.”

The Fit holds 12 mL of e-liquid, and the brand claims up to 12,000 puffs, equating to about 1,000 puffs per mL.

Reflecting new trends in the vaping industry

The Sikary Fit’s metal body aligns closely with the direction highlighted in 2Firsts’ earlier Global Vaping Product Innovation Trends Report, which notes a shift toward metal-shelled disposables. Introducing metal improves in-hand feel and lends a more “mature,” business-like aesthetic.

The report also notes that this aesthetic shift challenges the stereotype that vaping products target only younger consumers, while attempting to reach higher-end segments with greater purchasing power. However, the disposable nature of metal housings brings environmental concerns into sharper focus, urging brands to balance premium feel with sustainability-minded design.

In addition, the Fit’s ultra-thin approach echoes another trend 2Firsts observed at InterTabac—more brands are rolling out thinner and lighter devices. Minimal, lightweight forms serve portability needs and signal an evolution in the industry’s design language toward maturity and refinement.

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s government is adjusting business rates policy to support hospitality businesses while some other sectors, including vape retailers, face higher operating cost pressures. According to Streamline Feed, AJ Bell and other reports, the policy shift reflects a redistribution of business rate burdens as the government seeks to support sectors facing economic pressure. For UK vape shops, the change comes amid a broader regulatory environment shaped by the disposable vape ban, the upcoming Vaping Products Duty and increased compliance requirements.

WIRED Investigation: Chinese-Made Vapes Turn to 6-Methyl-Nicotine and Other Analogs, Challenging U.S. Regulation
U.S. technology and investigative publication WIRED has examined how nicotine analogs are emerging as a new challenge for the country’s vape regulatory framework. The article argues that after the U.S. expanded federal oversight of nicotine products in 2022, some manufacturers began using nicotine-like compounds such as 6-methyl-nicotine that may fall outside existing definitions. Researchers cited by WIRED said some nicotine analogs could be more potent than traditional nicotine, although human health impacts remain unclear. U.S. policymakers are considering broader definitions of nicotine to bring these compounds under federal oversight.

South Korea Vape Strategies Diverge as BAT Reconsiders Exit and PMI Takes VEEV to About 14,000 Stores
BAT Rothmans says it previously considered exiting South Korea's vaping market because of competitive pressure from unregulated products, but is now reassessing conditions following changes to the country's nicotine regulatory framework. Vuse and other BAT vaping products remain available through existing distribution channels. The statement followed a South Korean media report that interpreted BAT's broader withdrawal from selected Vapour markets as a full exit from South Korea. Meanwhile, Philip Morris International launched VEEV inPRIME in the country in June and began expanding distribution to around 14,000 convenience stores and other retail channels in July. The contrasting moves highlight differing investment strategies as South Korea's regulated vaping market evolves.
