Smuggling Operation in Turkey Uncovered: E-cigarettes, Shisha Tobacco Seized
Turkish authorities seize a large quantity of smuggled e-cigarettes, hookah tobacco, and honey in Altinpinar Province.

According to Turkish media outlet Haberler, the local armed forces in the Kemapasa district of Altinpinar province in Turkey have intercepted a smuggling operation involving a shipment of e-cigarettes, hookah tobacco, and honey.

 

In the village of Salp, a warehouse belonging to a Georgian citizen, A.G. (name abbreviated), has been raided and found to contain a significant quantity of smuggled goods intended for the market by the end of the year. Upon investigation, authorities seized a total of 516 kilograms of water pipe tobacco, 181 e-cigarettes, 6.7 kilograms of honey, and 2 electronic weighing scales from the said warehouse.

 

Currently, A.G. has been arrested by local forces and is awaiting further questioning.
