2Firsts，September 18, 2025 - According to a report from MGR Online on September 17, the Thai Cyber Crime Investigation Department arrested a 28-year-old woman in a luxury apartment and seized a total of 150 pieces of smuggled e-cigarettes, valued at approximately 80,000 Thai Baht (around $2,508). The operation was led by Cyber Crime Investigation Department Commander Trirong Phiwpaxon and other senior police officers, following several days of surveillance.

The police received a tip that a group called "RJV Reseller Admin" was illegally selling e-cigarettes to young people. After an extensive investigation, the police identified a suspect who was responsible for managing the group and distributing the products. The woman lived in the searched apartment. In order to avoid detection, she disguised the e-cigarettes as perfume.

After interrogation, the woman admitted that she had been invited by a friend to become the administrator of the group and was involved in distributing e-cigarettes through private courier channels, earning a monthly income of 12,000 to 18,000 Thai Baht (approximately $376 to $514). According to Section 246 of Thailand's Customs Act, the police have preliminarily charged her with aiding in concealing, selling, and receiving goods that have not cleared customs (e-cigarettes).

Currently, the police have handed over the suspect to investigators, who will take further legal action.
