Turkish Police seize $120,000 worth of counterfeit e-cigarettes.
Turkish police seize counterfeit e-cigarettes and products worth 415 million lira in Kocaeli province operation. Three suspects detained.

According to news reports on October 10th, the Turkish police seized e-cigarettes and other counterfeit products worth around 415 million lira (12,000 US dollars) in an operation in the province of Kocaeli. The seized e-cigarette products involved the brand "VOZOL".


According to the provincial gendarmerie headquarters, the operation took place in the Gebze and Derince areas on October 7th and 8th. During the search of two vehicles, law enforcement officers seized approximately 2500 bottles of counterfeit perfume and 300 e-cigarettes, with a total market value of around 415 million liras (12,000 USD).


Three suspects have been detained for their alleged involvement in the trafficking of counterfeit goods, and the case is currently under further investigation.
