Victorian Police Arrest Seven for Illegal Tobacco and Motorcycle Gangs
Australian police arrest seven in crackdown on illegal tobacco industry and motorcycle gangs; seize 43kg loose tobacco and 134,000 illegal cigarettes.

According to a report from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on November 24, the police in the state of Victoria, Australia, have arrested seven individuals, while several others have been detained in other states. The operation aims to combat the illegal tobacco industry and illegal motorcycle gangs.

 

In a recent operation, the Victorian police took stringent action, confiscating over 43 kilograms of loose tobacco, 134,000 illicit cigarettes, and 3,655 e-cigarettes, with the aim of targeting illegal motorcycle gangs.
