Vietnamese Authorities Seize 2400 Bottles of Illegal E-liquid

Police in Hanoi's Hoang Mai district seized and confiscated 2,400 bottles of unidentified e-cigarette liquid from a business.

According to an article by International Finance News on January 17th, the police department in Ho Dong district of Hanoi, Vietnam, discovered and seized 2400 bottles of unidentified e-cigarette oil at a commercial establishment.

Law enforcement authorities found that the establishment in question was found to be selling e-cigarettes without obtaining the required commercial registration certificate.

During the inspection process, the working group recorded the temporary seizure of 2,400 bottles of e-cigarette oil available for sale. These e-cigarette oils are commercially available in the market, with no origin or source provided. There is a lack of legally required invoices or documents for the seized goods. The estimated total value of the goods is close to 300 million Vietnamese dong.

Currently, the police in Hedong district are collaborating with the 11th Market Management Brigade to handle a case involving 2400 bottles of e-cigarette essential oils of unknown origin, in accordance with regulations.
