Zyn introduces new Tobacco Gold nicotine pouches

Zyn introduces new tobacco-flavored nicotine pouches, available in medium (3mg) and strong (6mg) strengths for smokers looking for a traditional taste.

Zyn has introduced a new flavor, Tobacco Gold, aimed at attracting nicotine users who enjoy the taste of tobacco. The product is available in medium (3mg) and strong (6mg) strengths. Swedish Match, the company behind Zyn, stated that they developed the product with consumers who prefer the taste of tobacco in mind, rather than those who would not consider nicotine pouches due to their preference for other flavors.

Nicotine pouches are tea bag-shaped pouches that are placed under the upper lip for around 15 to 30 minutes, depending on personal preference for nicotine dosage. Although similar to snuff, they offer the benefit of being smoke-free and odourless. Unlike snuff, they do not require spitting. Unfortunately, some countries, including New Zealand, have banned the use of nicotine pouches.

Swedish Match has announced that Tobacco Gold is an ideal product for individuals who wish to consume nicotine but also want to mitigate the health risks associated with tobacco. ZYN's country manager, Darren Griffin, stated, "We are thrilled to be the primary brand providing tobacco-flavored nicotine pouches, as we see this as the most highly desired flavor among users.

South Korea Vape Strategies Diverge as BAT Reconsiders Exit and PMI Takes VEEV to About 14,000 Stores
BAT Rothmans says it previously considered exiting South Korea's vaping market because of competitive pressure from unregulated products, but is now reassessing conditions following changes to the country's nicotine regulatory framework. Vuse and other BAT vaping products remain available through existing distribution channels. The statement followed a South Korean media report that interpreted BAT's broader withdrawal from selected Vapour markets as a full exit from South Korea. Meanwhile, Philip Morris International launched VEEV inPRIME in the country in June and began expanding distribution to around 14,000 convenience stores and other retail channels in July. The contrasting moves highlight differing investment strategies as South Korea's regulated vaping market evolves.
