2023 Chinese E-cigarette Export Data: Value at $8.95 million
China's e-cigarette exports to -- in 2023 surged 84.94% QoQ but fell 40.76% YoY, with export value at approximately $8.95 million.

According to the updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC), 2FIRSTS has compiled the e-cigarette export data from China to -- for the month of 2023. The details are as follows:

The export volume reached approximately 8.95 million US dollars, showing a month-on-month increase of 84.94% but a year-on-year decrease of 40.76%.

The export volume increased by approximately 183 tons, representing a significant growth of 89.39% compared to the previous period; however, there was a decline of 29.47% when compared to the same period last year.

The export unit price decreased by 2.35% on a monthly basis and 16.04% on a year-on-year basis, amounting to $48.94 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" stood at $7.26 per unit.

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vapor devices" accounted for 30.83% of the export categories, while "products containing nicotine that are not made from tobacco or reconstituted tobacco and are consumed through non-combustible means" accounted for 69.17%.
