2FIRSTS Analysis: China's E-cigarette Export Data to the US in May 2024
China's e-cigarette exports to the US in May 2024 rose 34.9% year-on-year, reaching $336 million in value.

According to updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs, 2FIRSTS has compiled e-cigarette export data from China to the United States for May 2024. The specifics are as follows:

The export amount is approximately $336 million, increasing by 2.4% compared to the previous period and by 34.9% compared to the same period last year.

The export volume was approximately 7,649.48 tons, an increase of 2.57% compared to the previous period and an increase of 44.61% year on year.

The export unit price is $43.96 per kilogram, a decrease of 0.2% month-on-month and a 6.7% year-on-year decrease. The average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporization devices" is $77.1 per unit.

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" account for 19.4% of the export category, while "products that do not contain tobacco or reconstituted tobacco, but contain nicotine and are not burned for use" account for 80.6%.
