Arrest Made at Electronic Music Party for Drug Possession
A 24-year-old man was arrested at an electronic music party in Argentina for possessing various drugs.

According to a report from Eldiariodecarlospaz in Argentina, a 24-year-old individual was arrested on the spot last Sunday during an electronic music party for possessing various types of illegal drugs.

 

The young person who was arrested was found to be in possession of four joints of marijuana, a transparent plastic bag containing seven gold triangular pills, and another transparent plastic bag containing brown powder. The police immediately notified the anti-narcotics unit, which confirmed that these were all illicit drugs. Consequently, the police confiscated these prohibited items and took the young person into custody.

Philip Morris International reported full-year 2025 results on February 6, with smoke-free products accounting for 41.5% of adjusted net revenues, up from 38.7% a year earlier. Total net revenues rose 7.3% to $40.65 billion, while shipment volumes increased 1.4%, widening the gap between revenue and volume growth. Cigarette shipments declined as smoke-free volumes rose 12.8%, driven by heated tobacco, oral nicotine and e-vapor products. Results were released alongside a 9:00 a.m. EST webcast.

Government plans would ban vaping in cars carrying children and restrict smoking, vaping and heated tobacco in settings including playgrounds and outside schools across England, subject to a 12-week public consultation.
