British Tourists Face £1,700 Fine for E-Cigarettes in Spain
UK tourists heading to Spain may face fines up to £1700 for violating new e-cigarette regulations on beaches.

According to a report from Express on May 23rd, British citizens traveling to Spain may face a fine of £1700 due to changes in Spain's e-cigarette regulations.


Currently, all 28 beaches in Spain, including the Balearic Islands, have implemented a comprehensive smoking ban, which includes e-cigarettes.


According to Markus Lindblad, a retailer from e-cigarette company Haypp, smoking or using e-cigarettes is also prohibited on the beaches of Barcelona. Offenders may face fines of up to 2000 euros (1702 pounds).
