Russian e-cigarette brand Brusko showcased its products at the VAPE CLUB SHOW 2023, discussing market trends and regulations.

During the VAPE CLUB SHOW 2023, a Russian e-cigarette exhibition held on December 16-17, 2FIRSTS and representatives from Brusko, a Russian e-cigarette brand and distributor, engaged in discussions regarding the Russian e-cigarette market, product innovation, and regulations. 

 

Anton is the Marketing Director of Brusko. Having decades of years of experience in the tobacco distribution industry, Anton described the distribution landscape to 2FIRSTS. "Brusko is the largest distributor of vape and Hookah on the Russian market. There are also large distributors on the market: Мегаполис (Megapolis), Континент (Continent), SNS (BAT's distributor in Russia), but they are focused on sales of traditional cigarettes", said Anton.

According to Anton, Brusko currently has more than 60 distributors in Russia, but this number may decrease to 40 after regulation. Unlike traditional tobacco distributors, Brusko focuses on e-cigarettes and hookahs and has warehouses in 17 cities across Russia, making it one of the largest distributors in the Russian e-cigarette industry.

In this exhibition, Brusko showcased four models of large-puff count disposable e-cigarettes dedicated to Russian local consumers. Brusko also takes note of the growing demand for disposable e-cigarettes in Europe and introduces a small-sized disposable product "Nevoks Magic 3000" with a 3ml e-liquid capacity. By adjusting the prefilled e-liquid amount, this product meets the requirements of both the Russian and European markets. Specifically, 3ml for the Russian market, while 2ml for other European markets.

In addition, Brusko is considering introducing a nicotine-free e-cigarette to comply with regulations.

 

In the local Russian market, Brusko is promoting a new open-design product and four large capacity disposable products, which are manufactured by Aspire.

Brusko is the first Russian company to apply for and receive the Honest Label certification, and it is set to be the first to obtain an import-export license in March 2024. Anton says that the company is "fully compliant" and regulatory measures have no impact on it.

 

Brusko is  Russia's first e-cigarette brand to enter the international market and has showcased its products in various locations such as Indonesia, UAE, and Germany. However, in European markets where e-cigarette regulations are stringent, Brusko primarily focuses on hookahs and recently released the new disposable"  

 

Anton says that Brusko has just released a new product, which has been on the market for a week. The product utilizes top-filling technology, allowing for the easy filling of e-liquid.

 

According to sources, it has been revealed that a majority of Russian consumers display a preference for disposable e-cigarettes. Consequently, Brusko, a well-known brand, is all set to unveil a diverse range of disposable e-cigarettes by the year 2024, with a clear objective of surpassing the competition from other brands in the same category.
