Challenges and Trends in the Aerosol Industry Exhibition

Several exhibitors at the 5th Atomization Industry Chain Exhibition expressed concern over declining performance and rapid product updates.

At the 5th Aerosol Industry Chain Exhibition held on August 28th, 2FIRSTS engaged in discussions with several participating companies.

During the communication process, many businesses have expressed to 2FIRSTS that their overall performance this year has generally declined compared to last year, with some companies even indicating a significant decrease in performance.

Furthermore, since the beginning of this year, e-cigarette products in the European and American markets have been rapidly updated, with manufacturers constantly releasing new products. In response to this trend, several e-cigarette integrators have stated that the acceleration of product iteration speed and the shortening of product lifecycles pose significant challenges for businesses.

Some exhibitors complained that the overall economy of the industry is not good, coupled with the rapid iteration speed of products, making them both complex and difficult to produce.

New York AG Seeks to Shut Down Vape Shops, Ban Owners from Industry

New York Attorney General Letitia James has filed a petition seeking to permanently shut down two smoke shops and ban their owners from the vape industry for repeatedly selling illegal flavored vapes to minors and operating without valid licenses. California DOJ Outlines Next Steps for Unflavored Tobacco List; Enforcement to Target “Obviously Flavored” Products

The California DOJ issued Information Bulletin No. 2025-DLE-17 on November 10, 2025, providing an update on the state’s flavored tobacco enforcement. The Attorney General’s office is set to launch the Unflavored Tobacco List (UTL) by December 31, 2025, identifying tobacco products without characterizing flavors that may legally be sold in California. Enforcement will continue to focus on “obviously flavored” products, while unregistered products remain subject to seizure and penalties.
