CISION released a press release on 29 April, mentioning ELFBAR's launch of e-cigarette EW9000 in Canada, Latin America, and UAE markets.

On April 29th, 2FIRSTS noticed that the foreign media outlet CISION had published an article suspected to be a PR piece for ELFBAR. The article mentioned that ELFBAR has launched a new e-cigarette product, the EW9000, in the markets of Canada, Latin America, and the United Arab Emirates.

The article mentions that the EW9000 includes two magnetic components: a disposable replaceable pod and an 820mAh rechargeable device, which are connected via magnetic attraction, designed to support up to 9000 puffs. This magnetic design allows users to retain and reuse the rechargeable device when replacing the disposable pod, thereby extending the product's lifespan.

An investigation by 2FIRSTS has revealed that the appearance of the EW9000 is extremely similar to the SW9000 product released in the US market by the Off Stamp brand at the end of 2023, with the main difference being the branding labels used.

The Off Stamp SW9000 is only available in the United States, with the logo "Off Stamp" printed on the side of the product; while the ELFBAR EW9000 is launched in the Canadian, Latin American, and Middle Eastern markets, with the logo "ELFBAR" printed on the side of the product.

It is worth noting that ELFBAR was banned from entering the US market last year due to trademark issues and an import alert issued by the FDA. ELFBAR has stated in interviews that as of May 2023, both ELFBAR and EBDESIGN have stopped supplying products to the United States.

2FIRSTS will continue to track and report on this event. Please stay tuned.

First week of the ban: Wisconsin retail sales plunge 90%, inventories sealed, shelves left bare
After Wisconsin’s new vape ban took effect, many vape shops across the state reported emptied displays and sharp sales declines. The law requires the state Department of Revenue to fine retailers that sell vaping devices without U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorization. The industry group WiscoFAST has sued the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, arguing the law improperly encroaches on federal oversight. Some business owners say sales have dropped by as much as 90% since the ban took

E-cigarette shops in Wisconsin, USA, see sales drop due to new regulations
Wisconsin's new vape regulations have led to a significant drop in sales and stock for vape shops. The law, which bans most vape products, has forced businesses to remove 80% of their stock. Many top sellers are now off-limits, and some customers are traveling out of state to find the products they want. Despite losing a lawsuit against the Department of Revenue, WiscoFAST continues to fight the regulations, arguing that they unfairly target small businesses.
