China's E-cigarette Export in January and February: 16.56 Billion USD, a YoY Increase of 9.24%
China's e-cigarette exports in January and February totaled approximately $16.56 billion, with a notable increase in both value and volume.

On March 20, the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China updated the 2024 e-cigarette export trade data. The data shows that in January and February, the total export value of e-cigarettes from China was approximately 16.56 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 9.24%; the export volume was 36247 tons, a year-on-year increase of 35.11%.

 

In January, exports amounted to approximately $1.017 billion, a decrease of 7.47% compared to the previous month, but an increase of 8.34% compared to the same period last year. In February, exports were $639 million, a decrease of 37.16% compared to the previous month, but an increase of 10.70% compared to the same period last year.

In January, the export volume was 22,235 tons, a decrease of 12.51% from the previous month and an increase of 32.37% compared to the same period last year. In February, the export volume was 14,013 tons, a decrease of 36.98% from the previous month, but an increase of 39.69% compared to the same period last year.

In January, the export unit price was $45.72 per kilogram, increasing by 5.76% month-on-month but decreasing by 18.15% year-on-year. In February, the export unit price was $45.59 per kilogram, decreasing by 0.28% month-on-month and 20.75% year-on-year.
