China's E-cigarette Exports to Japan: Oct 2023 Data Analysis
China's e-cigarette exports to Japan in October 2023 reached $19.11 million, with a 10.55% MoM increase and a 40.46% YoY decrease.

According to the updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS compiled the e-cigarette export data from China to Japan in October 2023. The details are as follows:

The export value reached approximately $19.11 million, marking a 10.55% increase compared to the previous period, but a 40.46% decrease year-on-year.

The export volume is approximately 137 tons, representing a sequential increase of 17.85% and a year-on-year decrease of 29.41%.

The export unit price declined by 6.19% month-on-month and 15.66% year-on-year, reaching $139.27 per kilogram. The average price for "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" was $26.14 per unit.

Among them, 'e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers' account for 99.8% of the export category, while 'non-combustible nicotine-containing products that do not contain tobacco or reconstituted tobacco' make up 0.2% of the total.
