Five Southeast Asian Countries Ban Sales of E-cigarettes and E-liquid
5 Southeast Asian countries have banned the sale and use of e-cigarettes and e-cigarette liquid, according to SEATCA.

According to a report from Malaya on October 24th, the Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance announced that out of the ten countries in Southeast Asia, five of them have banned the sale and use of e-cigarettes and e-cigarette liquid.


According to an assessment by the Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA), five countries in Southeast Asia, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, and Thailand, have implemented a ban on the sale and use of e-cigarettes and e-cigarette liquids.


The anti-smoking group also pointed out that there are currently no regulations in place in Myanmar and Vietnam prohibiting e-cigarettes and e-cigarette liquids. As for Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, the organization stated that these countries have only implemented some level of regulation for e-cigarettes and e-cigarette liquids.


The alliance encourages the governments of these three countries to impose stricter regulations on the management of e-cigarettes and e-cigarette liquids.
