Illegal Distribution of Taxable Products Uncovered in Odessa Region
Ukraine's Security Service busts criminal group distributing untaxed products in Odessa region, seizing $50,000 worth of goods.

According to Korrespondent.Net's report on September 3, the Ukrainian Economic Security Bureau (БЕБ) announced on that day that they had cracked down on a criminal group distributing untaxed products in the Odessa region.

According to reports, this group primarily sells e-cigarettes, e-cigarette liquid, and hookah tobacco without the necessary Ukrainian tax stamps through store networks. In addition, they also sell these counterfeit products through online and communication channels.

During the operation, investigators seized e-cigarettes, e-cigarette liquid, over 400 kilograms of packaged water tobacco from various brands, and financial documents related to business activities. It is estimated that the total value of the seized taxable products is approximately 2.1 million grivnas (50,000 USD).

Currently, the relevant departments have designated a series of assessments and are conducting necessary investigative actions.
