Illegal e-Cigarette-Liquid Factory Raided by Ukrainian Economic Security Agency

Ukrainian authorities uncover illegal e-cigarette-liquid factory in Kryvyi Rih, seizing $70,000 worth of goods and equipment.

According to Epravda on October 16th, the Ukrainian Economic Security Agency discovered an illegal factory producing e-cigarette liquid.

An investigation has found that the factory is located in a non-residential, two-story building in the industrial zone of Khryverikh city. The factory is equipped with specialized equipment and employs a total of 16 workers on the production line. The finished products are sold through a network of regular customers and are also shipped throughout Ukraine via mail.

Staff at the bureau confiscated a total of 50 boxes of finished products, more than 200 containers filled with spices and other ingredients, approximately 90 containers filled with nicotine, as well as equipment used for filling, packaging, and labeling the finished products. The estimated value of the confiscated property is around 3 million grivnas (70,000 USD).

Authorities stated that the factory violated Ukrainian tax laws and relevant regulations under "Regulations on the Production and Distribution of Ethanol, Distilled Spirits, Alcoholic Beverages, Tobacco, and for use in e-cigarette liquid and fuel production.
