InterTabac 2025 will host the inaugural World Alternative Awards on Sept. 19 in Dortmund, honoring 15 standout products and companies across the alternative nicotine sector. Co-hosted with Alternative magazine.

2Firsts, September 8, 2025,-As part of the upcoming InterTabac 2025 trade show, the event organizer Westfalenhallen Unternehmensgruppe will present the World Alternative Awards, a program recognizing outstanding products and companies in the global alternative nicotine sector. 2Firsts will serve as one of the official media partners for InterTabac 2025, providing full coverage of the awards and related developments.

 

The World Alternative Awards feature 15 categories across five sectors: Heated Tobacco (HNB), Vape, Pouch, Industry, and General. The full list of award categories includes:

 

HNB Category:

  • Best HNB Product of the Year

 

Vape Category:

  • Best Disposable of the Year
  • Best Open Pod System of the Year
  • Best Closed Pod System of the Year
  • Best E-liquid of the Year

According to the official website, this year’s awards ceremony will be co-hosted with Alternative magazine and will take place as a standalone gala event. Attendees can look forward to an exclusive award show with direct networking opportunities with key industry leaders.

 

The ceremony will be held at Messe Dortmund, Hall PA4, at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025.
