JT Group Expands in Egypt with Strategic Meetings and Office

JT Group establishes new office in Cairo, Egypt, with strategic meetings to discuss future strategies and business opportunities.

According to a report from Daily News Egypt on March 4th, Japan Tobacco International Company (JT Group) has established a new office in Cairo, Egypt and held a series of important meetings with strategic stakeholders.

Masamichi Terabatake, President and CEO of JT Global, conducted a two-day business visit to the Egyptian office, where he met with JTI's Egypt General Manager Mariana Magdy to discuss JTI's future strategy in Egypt and provide thoughtful guidance on urgent business issues.

Seihata Masamichi commented on his visit by saying:

I am proud to witness the continued success of JTI in Egypt. This reflects our team's execution of the company's leadership strategies and implementation of the highest global standards with unwavering commitment. The Egyptian market has shown tobacco manufacturers immense growth potential, driving our interest in expanding our footprint and increasing production.

In the final stage of the visit, Masamichi Terahata met with Japan's Ambassador to Egypt, Hiroshi Oka, to discuss the latest milestones in the Egyptian market and explore future investment opportunities that could strengthen JTI's presence in Egypt.
