2Firsts, March 10, 2026 – According to Japan Tobacco Inc., Japan Tobacco Inc. (JT) announced on March 10 that it had begun advance sales of the fifth limited-edition color for its heated tobacco device “Ploom AURA,” called “Fuchsia Flare,” through the CLUB JT online shop and Ploom Shops nationwide. The product is priced at JPY 2,980. Beginning on March 17, it will also go on sale in limited quantities at convenience stores nationwide and selected tobacco retailers.

 

“Fuchsia Flare” is a limited-edition color featuring a vivid fuchsia pink. According to JT, the design was created with the intention of adding color and brilliance to the user and encouraging a flexible mindset for enjoying daily life. It is the fifth edition in the “Ploom AURA” limited-color series.

“Ploom AURA” uses JT’s proprietary heating technology, “SMART HEATFLOW,” to draw out the original taste of tobacco, and it allows users to choose among four heating modes through the “HEAT SELECT SYSTEM.”

 

In addition, starting from March 10, related accessories for “Ploom AURA” are being released in stages through the CLUB JT online shop, Ploom Shops nationwide, and Ploom STAND locations. These include five front panels, each priced at JPY 1,480, and one back cover in “Fuchsia Flare,” priced at JPY 1,980. The accessories can be combined with the device body for different color combinations.

To coincide with the launch, JT is also offering a paid “Ploom Free Trial” program for people purchasing Ploom for the first time. Eligible users can purchase the starter kit, normally priced at JPY 2,980, for JPY 980. The eligible lineup includes nine colors, including “Fuchsia Flare.” Sales through the official CLUB JT ONLINE SHOP stores on Rakuten Marketplace and Yahoo will begin at 10:00 a.m. on March 17.

  • Amber Haze was released in September 2025.
  • Bronze Royal was released on November 11, 2025. 
  • Aqua Green was released on December 1, 2025.
  •  Purple Dusk was released on January 13, 2026.
