Japan Tobacco to Discontinue Ploom X Advanced; Next-Generation Device Set for May 27 Launch
Japan Tobacco (JT) has announced it will discontinue sales of its heated tobacco device “Ploom X Advanced” starting mid-May 2025. The company also revealed plans to launch the next-generation model in the series on May 27.

Recently, Japan Tobacco (JT) announced that its heated tobacco device "Ploom X Advanced" will cease sales entirely after clearing out existing inventory starting in mid-May.

The company announced that the Ploom brand is planning to launch a new generation of heated tobacco devices, with the new products set to be officially unveiled at a press conference on May 27th, 2025.

 

JT emphasized that the upcoming new product will further optimize the user experience and aims to surpass the "Ploom X Advanced" in terms of functionality and satisfaction.
